Anxiety spurred by recent economic uncertainties contributes to the image that college graduates are facing difficulties in the job market. Nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, 2016 college graduates have highly favorable job prospects with statistics showing that employers are expecting to hire 5% more graduates out of the 1.9 million graduating this year. With many graduates receiving degrees in sought-after fields like engineering and business, these diploma holders have something to celebrate – they are experiencing the best job prospects since the Great Depression.

With the future looking bright for these graduates, the question then arises: how can these diploma holders take advantage of these waves of career opportunities? As both a financial advisor and UCLA graduate (Go Bruins!), it’s my hope that the following tips will prepare recent college graduates to bring out their best.
